Along with being a nature lover, hopeless romantic, and a photographer I am also a wife, mom, and dog mom.
I am forever learning. In everything I do I feel I always have room to grow and learn with each experience life brings.

About Me

I get asked this question all the time, Teddie is my real name. I was named after my dad, Ted. :) Having a unique name comes with many funny stories, from people thinking I am a boy when they see only my name - to then being shocked when they see me in person. But my favorite story is being called Teddie-2-legs by my soon to be in-laws at the time because I shared a name with the family dog!

Ever since I was a little girl I have been in love with flowers. Before falling in love with photography, I wanted to be a florist, but told my parents that I couldn't because I would never want to sell the arrangements and would just keep them all.

My parents are Christmas fanatics, I guess it runs in the family. My oldest brother is obsessed with Christmas as well. I am the person who on November 1st is making plans to decorate for Christmas that week. I also start listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had a craving for anything burgundy. I thought after I gave birth it would go back to being purple, but I finally admitted that after 15 years of my favorite color being purple, it has changed.

I LOVE spoiling and surprising my loved ones. The hopeless romantic in me really gets to shine. Whether it is surprising my husband with  a date deck that has 52 dates planned. Or surprising my parents with a special anniversary dinner. Or surprising my best friend at a photoshoot by secretly inviting her husband!

something that brings me joy

I can't fully explain the love I have for being barefoot, but there is something about making a true connection with nature that just makes me happy.

Favorite thing to do

This may be obvious since I am a photographer, but I have had a love for photography since I was 10. I love all forms of photography; nature, film, artistic, and what I do for a living - lifestyle! But the thing I love most about photography are sunflares.

My Favorite Things

"We take photographs as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone."

I believe that we live on a beautiful planet and that it is important more than ever to do our part to keep our planet healthy.

I believe that all families should get photos taken, but I know it can be difficult for families who have members diagnosed with ASD. In high school I was lucky enough to be part of the ASD mentorship program, I was a mentor for 2 different students on the spectrum. Whatever hour my mentorship class was in, was the class I joined the student. I was there to observe their social skills, provide help, and give them an outlet to decompress if they became overstimulated. This class taught me so much and is a big reason as to why I am so accepting of others and do my best to make sure everyone can be included. I wanted to incorporate this into my company to try and help provide some relief for families scheduling a photoshoot, I set up a time for us to meet so that everyone is comfortable together before the photoshoot. I get to know what should be avoided and what should be included.

Lastly, I am a firm believer in love. Everyone has their own unique love story and has a different love language. Love is nurturing, messy, beautiful, uplifting, healing, and so special, I want to capture as many love stories as I can! Love can be captured in so many ways, not just on a wedding day or between a couple. As a mom, I know that my daughter loves me based on her actions since she is unable to say the words yet. With photographing kids I can capture how they show you they love you, before they can tell you.

My beliefs

When it came to developing my business, I wanted to make sure my beliefs and values are part of the foundation.
