Along with being a nature lover, hopeless romantic, and a photographer I am also a wife, mom, and dog mom.
I am forever learning. In everything I do I feel I always have room to grow and learn with each experience life brings.
I get asked this question all the time, Teddie is my real name. I was named after my dad, Ted. :) Having a unique name comes with many funny stories, from people thinking I am a boy when they see only my name - to then being shocked when they see me in person. But my favorite story is being called Teddie-2-legs by my soon to be in-laws at the time because I shared a name with the family dog!
I LOVE spoiling and surprising my loved ones. The hopeless romantic in me really gets to shine. Whether it is surprising my husband with a date deck that has 52 dates planned. Or surprising my parents with a special anniversary dinner. Or surprising my best friend at a photoshoot by secretly inviting her husband!

I believe that we live on a beautiful planet and that it is important more than ever to do our part to keep our planet healthy.
I believe that all families should get photos taken, but I know it can be difficult for families who have members diagnosed with ASD. In high school I was lucky enough to be part of the ASD mentorship program, I was a mentor for 2 different students on the spectrum. Whatever hour my mentorship class was in, was the class I joined the student. I was there to observe their social skills, provide help, and give them an outlet to decompress if they became overstimulated. This class taught me so much and is a big reason as to why I am so accepting of others and do my best to make sure everyone can be included. I wanted to incorporate this into my company to try and help provide some relief for families scheduling a photoshoot, I set up a time for us to meet so that everyone is comfortable together before the photoshoot. I get to know what should be avoided and what should be included.
Lastly, I am a firm believer in love. Everyone has their own unique love story and has a different love language. Love is nurturing, messy, beautiful, uplifting, healing, and so special, I want to capture as many love stories as I can! Love can be captured in so many ways, not just on a wedding day or between a couple. As a mom, I know that my daughter loves me based on her actions since she is unable to say the words yet. With photographing kids I can capture how they show you they love you, before they can tell you.
